Christopher S. has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Christopher began their career as a Manager of Process Engineering & Business Development at Carl M. Rodia & Associates, Inc. from 1996 to 1999. Christopher then worked as a Product Development Engineer at NanoSciences Corporation in 2000, followed by an Engineering Team Leader role at Trident from 2001 to 2002.
In 2003, Christopher became a Program Manager at NanoSciences Corp., where they managed a two-year Department of Energy funded project. Christopher then joined United Technologies in 2007 as a Manufacturing Manager, Senior Engineer, and Product Developer, leading a team focused on laser warning systems. Christopher stayed with United Technologies until 2014, during which they transitioned to a role at Eaton as a Manufacturing Manager, responsible for overseeing the altitude and hydraulic pressure switch manufacturing and repair departments.
Christopher continued their career at PerkinElmer, Inc. in 2016, serving as a Manufacturing Manager for the NexION mass spectrometer team. In the same year, they founded Broken Symmetry Gastro Brewery, where they served as the Owner, Head Brewer, and Operation Leader. Under their leadership, the brewery experienced significant growth and increased brewing capacity.
In 2017, Christopher joined Sonics & Materials, Inc. as the Director of Engineering, where they presented an evolution of the ultrasonic processing and manufacturing product portfolio and introduced strategic planning concepts. Christopher'smost recent role is Chief Operating Officer at nVizix since 2013, where they guide the development and production of a patented photovoltaic technology funded by NASA and NSF grants.
Throughout their career, Christopher has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of driving growth and innovation in various industries.
Christopher S. completed their secondary education at Danbury High School from 1988 to 1991. Following this, they attended Fairfield University from 1991 to 1995 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. In addition to their formal education, Christopher obtained a certification as a Lean Practitioner from Goodrich Corporation in May 2010.
