James Gentile

James Gentile currently holds the position of Battalion Commander at the 11th Psychological Operations Battalion, a role commenced in May 2023. With extensive leadership experience across various military and civilian roles, Gentile served as Executive Officer for both the 2nd Psyop Group and the 11th Psychological Operations Battalion. Previous positions include Campus Manager at NVR, Inc., Operations Manager at D.L. Martin, and Facilities Manager at PepsiCo - Frito Lay. With a background in the U.S. Army as an Infantry Captain and Detachment Commander, Gentile possesses a solid foundation in leadership under pressure, logistical operations, and team management, supporting over 120 Soldiers in critical environments. Academically, Gentile earned a BS in Political Science from Alfred University and an AS in Liberal Arts from Alfred State College.
