Mel Martinez

Mel Martinez is the current Director at NVR. Prior to this, Mel was with Bank of America Corporation from March 2000 to March 2015. At Bank of America, Mel held the title SVP, Compliance Executive and was in charge of Consumer/Retail Compliance.

Some of Mel's accomplishments while at Bank of America include developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance risk management program, executing an effective regulatory oversight compliance program, and spearheading regulatory examinations and regulator relationships. Mel was also a leading member of various governance committees, including the Board of Directors of several bank subsidiary entities.

Mel is an effective manager and coach who successfully encouraged professional development with 75% of teammates earning their Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation.

Mel Martinez has a Juris Doctor from the University of La Verne and a BA in Mel'story/Business from St. John's University. Mel also has a certification from LOMA in Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI).
