Devi Akella

Devi Akella serves as the Chair of the School of Business, Full Professor, MBA Director, and Management Program Coordinator at Albany State University, where tenure began in January 2005. In addition, Devi Akella holds the position of Associate Editor and Co-Guest Editor for the Organization Management Journal, specifically for the special issue on "The Modern Face of Workplace Incivility," starting in August 2017. Prior experience includes roles as a Fulbright Specialist with the Fulbright Association in late 2016, and Assistant Professor at both the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi and the Indian Institute of Management in Kozhikode from 2001 to 2003. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Behavior Studies from the University of Leeds, an MBA from the same institution, a Bachelor's degree from Delhi University, and a Professional Certificate in HR Analytics from eCornell in 2023.
