Garrett U.

Garrett U. currently serves as the Manager of Nuclear Security and Emergency Preparedness and previously held the position of Site Engagement Associate at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization since June 2019. Prior experience includes working as a District Resource Liaison Specialist at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry from February 2017 to May 2019, where responsibilities involved advising, planning, and leading Indigenous programs, while fostering cooperation in sustainable resource management. Additionally, Garrett U. spent over a decade as an Initial Attack Incident Commander with Aviation Forest Fire Emergency Services from May 2006 to February 2017. Academic credentials include an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Chemistry and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Economics, both from Lakehead University.
