Glenn Jager

Glenn Jager has extensive experience in the nuclear sector, currently serving as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Nuclear Waste Management Organization since June 2022, overseeing the safe disposal of Canada's high-level nuclear waste. Previously, Glenn Jager held leadership roles including Board Chair for the Canadian Nuclear Association and President and CEO of Canadian Nuclear Partners, focusing on the marketing of technical services and isotopes. With a long tenure at Ontario Power Generation, roles included President and Chief Nuclear Officer, where responsibilities encompassed nuclear operations and decommissioning, as well as positions such as Senior Vice President and Director of Operations and Maintenance, managing the operations of CANDU units. Glenn Jager also served as Team Manager at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations, evaluating nuclear stations' effectiveness. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering Science in Electrical - Controls and Power Engineering from Western University.
