Mackenzie Denyes is an experienced professional in environmental science and regulatory affairs, currently serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Queen's University, where responsibilities include instructing the course MNTC 418 on Sustainability and the Environment. In parallel, Mackenzie holds the position of Director of Impact Assessment and Licensing at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization, overseeing necessary approvals for Canada’s deep geological repository for used nuclear fuel.
