Sean Ross has a strong background in archaeology and policy advisory roles. Sean began their career in 2005 as a Library Circulation Services assistant at the University of Toronto. In 2008, they worked as an Archaeologist at Archeoworks, Inc. Sean then joined the University of Toronto again in 2009 as an Archaeological Laboratory Assistant and as a Field Supervisor for the Tell Madaba Archaeological Project.
In 2010, Sean took on the position of Archaeologist at Archaeological Services Inc. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at the Ontario Ministry of Transportation as a Regional Archaeologist, and then transitioned to the role of Senior Policy Advisor in the Indigenous Relations Branch until 2017.
Sean's most recent positions have been with the Ontario Ministry of Northern Development and Mines as a Senior Policy Advisor from 2017 to 2019, and currently as the Manager of Indigenous Engagement at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization.
Sean Ross received their Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto - Victoria University between the years 2004 and 2008. Sean'sfield of study included archaeology, English, and religion. Sean then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Archaeology at the University of Toronto from 2009 to 2010.
