William Chan

William Chan currently serves as the Director of Internal Audit at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization, a position held since July 2025, focusing on the long-term management of used nuclear fuel in Canada. Prior experience at Hydro One spans from October 2008 to July 2025, where roles included Director of Internal Audit (Interim) and Senior Manager of Internal Audit, alongside various managerial positions related to corporate standards, operational policies, and distributed energy resources. Additionally, William Chan was a Project Manager at Skills Ontario and a Board Member there from 2014 to 2020, and worked as a Distribution Engineer at Oakville Hydro from 2003 to 2008. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Master of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
