Jack Hsu has extensive work experience in the field of software development, with a focus on web development and engineering management. Jack started their career as a Web Developer at CubeRoute in 2005, where they improved the speed and interactivity of a logistics web application. Jack then worked as a Software Developer at Lehman Brothers in 2006, merging trading applications and integrating test suites into the workflow. From 2007 to 2009, Jack served as a Front-End Web Developer at The Globe and Mail, where they developed tools in Python and was responsible for online financial tools.
In 2009, Jack joined the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research as a Sr. Software Developer, where they designed scalable JavaScript applications and architecture for data retrieval and analysis tools. In 2011, they became a Web Developer at Adjuno, and in 2012, they took on the role of Sr. Web Developer at Wave Accounting, leading frontend development and asset management.
Jack's expertise expanded further when they joined Nulogy in 2013 as a Sr. Software Engineer, leading initiatives to use modern technologies and frameworks for client-side applications. Jack then worked as a Web Developer at Pressly from 2015 to 2017, and as a Lead Web Developer at Vision Critical from 2017 to 2018.
In 2018, Jack joined Narwhal Technologies Inc (Nrwl) as an Angular Architect and later transitioned into the role of Engineering Manager in 2021. Throughout their career, Jack has consistently demonstrated strong technical skills and the ability to lead and manage development teams.
Jack Hsu attended Cawthra Park Secondary School from 1997 to 2002. During this period, they pursued studies in music. Subsequently, they enrolled at the University of Waterloo from 2002 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a specialization in Computer Science.
