At NXT Engineering, we believe the industry needs a reality check. For too long, the building technology space has been buried under layers of technical jargon and unnecessary complexity.

I started NXT Engineering as an independent consultancy to provide am alternative to the big-firm model. My background spans the entire lifecycle of building tech, from controls contracting to product development and Tier 1 consultancy. I’ve seen the gap between the slide deck and a building that actually works, and I’m here to bridge it with technical grit.

The NXT Philosophy: Technology Simplified
There is no longer a "premium" on technology; it is simply a tool to solve problems. If you think your project can’t afford smart technology, you’re likely the one who needs it most to drive efficiency and performance.

Our Principles:
- Future-proof: Independent, vendor-neutral designs that don't lock you into a 5 to 10-year mistake.
- Sustainable: Real-world efficiency that shows up in the plant room, not just on a marketing brochure.
- Integrated: Systems that actually share data to drive performance and reduce operational friction.

What We Do:
We provide strategic advisory and technical oversight across the built environment.
- BMS, Controls & Automation: Engineering design and functional specifications.
- Technical Audits & Due Diligence: Identifying risks in existing OT stacks.
- OT Cyber Security: Assessing vulnerabilities in connected infrastructure.
- Digitisation Strategy: Practical roadmaps for IoT and data integration.
- Energy Management: Turning data into measurable sustainability outcomes.

No massive overheads. No layers of management. Just deep expertise, total focus, and a competitive commercial model that puts your project first.

Let’s get to work.
