Bert Dequae

Bert Dequae has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Bert is currently the Co-founder, Commercial at NXT Grid, a role they have held since March 2019. In January 2019, they founded Q&Company Advisory. Prior to these ventures, Bert served as the Head of Business Negotiations & Legal at Ampyx Power from June 2018 to February 2019. Bert also held various positions at Total, starting as a Senior Counsel from September 2012 to August 2015, and later becoming the Head of Business Negotiations from August 2015 to May 2018. From May 2007 to October 2012, Bert worked as the General Counsel at Kenda Capital BV. Before that, they gained valuable experience at Shell, where they worked as a Senior Legal Counsel from September 2006 to April 2007, a Legal Counsel from September 2004 to September 2006, and as a Business Development Advisor from May 2001 to January 2004. Bert's early career involved roles as a Well Engineer at Shell from 1997 to 2001 and a Wellsite Petroleum Engineer for a brief period in 1996.

Bert Dequae completed their Master's degree in Geosciences at KU Leuven from 1990 to 1995. Following this, they pursued a degree in Law and obtained an LLB from the University of London from 1997 to 2000.
