Derek Martin

Derek Martin is a seasoned semiconductor and technology executive with a robust background in philanthropy and higher education leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Outreach and External Relations at NY CREATES, Derek leads initiatives to position New York as a hub for semiconductor innovation. Previously, they held various executive roles, including District Executive Director at multiple YMCA locations and Market Director at Bryant & Stratton College, where they focused on community engagement and strategic partnerships. Derek's extensive educational background includes ongoing studies in Physical Education and Health Science at SUNY Brockport, as well as executive education in Finance from The Wharton School.
