Robert Geer

Robert Geer is an accomplished professional currently serving as Vice President for Education and Workforce Development at NY CREATES, focusing on Semiconductor Technologies and Advanced Manufacturing since July 2023. Concurrently, Robert Geer holds a position as Professor of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at the University at Albany, SUNY, and has been a Professor and Director of Education and Workforce Development for AIM Photonics at SUNY Polytechnic Institute since March 2001. In addition, Robert Geer has had a key role as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President at SUNY Polytechnic Institute, overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of education and outreach programs across the institution's Albany and Utica-Rome campuses.
