Brett Eby is the Principal Court Attorney to Hon. Paul E. Davenport at the New York Supreme Court, a position held since 2019. They have previously served as a Special District Attorney for Warren County in 2019 and worked as an Assistant District Attorney from 2011 to 2014, where they represented the State of New York in over fifty trials. Eby also held roles as an Assistant Counsel at the New York State Justice Center and an Assistant Attorney General, with contributions to extensive legal research and motion practice. Additionally, they have been a Board Member of the Alzheimer's Association Northeastern New York Chapter since 2015 and taught pre-law courses as an Adjunct Professor at The Sage Colleges from 2016 to 2019. Brett earned a JD from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and a BA in History and Political Science from Saint Bonaventure University, with ongoing education in Public Sector Leadership at Cornell University.
