Peter Halmos

Peter Halmos is a graduate student at Princeton University, pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from 2022 to 2027. In addition to academic studies, Peter serves as a Data Science Associate at the New York Genome Center since June 2021, previously held a position as a Teaching Assistant for Organic Chemistry at Columbia University for a brief period in 2021, and completed a Computational Genomics Research Co-op and Internship at Foundation Medicine in 2019. Prior research experience includes roles as a Research Assistant in the Department of Computer Science at Columbia University and at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where Peter worked on projects related to leukemia stem cells and chemotherapy. Peter graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Chemistry from Columbia College in 2021.
