Håkan Norell

Håkan Norell has a strong background in oncology research and preclinical development. Håkan is currently the Director and Head of Oncology Research at Nykode Therapeutics since January 2022. Prior to this, Håkan held various roles at Gadeta from 2018 to 2021, including Vice President Research, Director Preclinical Development, and Director Discovery. Håkan was responsible for leading research and development activities in these positions. Before joining Gadeta, Håkan worked as a Senior Scientist at the Instituto de Medicina Molecular from 2012 to 2017, where they contributed to scientific advancements in the field. Håkan started their career as a Researcher at the Medical University of South Carolina from 2006 to 2011. Throughout their career, Håkan has gained valuable experience in the field of oncology research and has made significant contributions to the development of novel therapies.

Håkan Norell pursued their education from 2001 to 2006 at Karolinska Institutet. During this period, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree with a specialization in Immunobiology & tumor immunology.
