Mohammad Arabpour has a strong background in research and development. Mohammad started their career in 2016 as an Assistant Research Scientist at MIVAC Development AB, GU, where they worked until 2022. In 2019, they joined Sahlgrenska Center for Cancer Research as an Associate Research Scientist and worked there until 2022. In 2020, they joined Sahlgrenska University Hospital as a Senior Development Research Scientist and worked until 2022. Currently, Mohammad is working as a Senior Lead Translational Research Scientist at Nykode Therapeutics, starting in 2022.
Mohammad Arabpour holds a Ph.D degree in Molecular medicine and biotechnology with specialization in gene targeting and editing (therapy) from the University of Groningen, which they obtained in 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Master's Degree in Medical Virology from Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences. Additionally, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Lab Sciences from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. In 2013, they obtained a certification in GCP/GLP from the University of Groningen.
