Matthew Hunter

Matthew Hunter, P.Eng, PMP, CEM, RSO, currently serves as the Manager of Engineering, Sustainability, and Capital Expenditures at Nylene since 2020, following a role as Senior Project, Facility, and Energy Engineer. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Project & Facility Engineer at Roseburg Forest Products from 2018 to 2020, where Roseburg acquired Pembroke MDF in 2019, and serving as a Project & Facility Engineer at Pembroke MDF Inc. from 2016 to 2018. Earlier career stages involved five years as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Breaker Technology (2011-2016) and research at Ryerson University, Auto21 (2007-2011). Academic qualifications encompass a Master's of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Ryerson University, a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Guelph, and certificates in Energy Management and Advanced Project Management from the Canadian Institute for Energy Training and the University of Ottawa, respectively.
