Nigel Stokes attended Queen's University from 1975 to 1979, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Computer Science. Nigel then pursued further education at the University of Waterloo from 1980 to 1982 and obtained a Master of Applied Science degree in Systems Design. Nigel Stokes later enrolled at the University of Toronto from 1982 to 1988 and completed their Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
