Benedict D. has a wealth of experience in the engineering field. In 2008, they began as an Undergraduate Research Student at PEATER Energy Research, University of Warwick. Benedict then became a European Student Moon Orbiter Power Systems Team Member for the ESA Education Office Project. In 2009, they returned to PEATER Energy Research, University of Warwick as a Post-Graduate Researcher, developing novel structures for high efficiency failure tolerant Power Semiconductor Devices. Benedict also served as a European Student Moon Orbiter Electrical Power Systems Team Mentor at the University of Warwick. In 2013, Benedict D. joined Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL) as a Power Team Manager, Power Functional Lead, Senior Power Engineer, and Electronics Hardware Engineer. Benedict then moved to ChargePoint as a Senior Hardware Systems Engineer in 2019 and is currently employed as a Senior Systems Engineer at Nyobolt since 2022.
Benedict D. completed their Research PhD in Power Electronics from the University of Warwick in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained an MEng in Electronic Engineering from the same university in 2009.
