Mechanical Design Engineer at Nyobolt

Marcus Wolf has a diverse work experience in the field of mechanical design engineering. Marcus is currently working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Nyobolt. Prior to this, they worked at Cambridge Design Partnership where they served as an Associate Mechanical Engineer, gaining over two years of experience in designing complex mechanisms for robotically assisted surgery systems. In addition, Marcus has expertise in SolidWorks CAD designing and was the youngest ever member of the CAD administration team at the company.

Before joining Cambridge Design Partnership, Marcus worked as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer for two years. Marcus also had a research internship at the University of Manchester, where they optimized the shape of a medical implant used for bone repair by modeling complex surfaces and assemblies in SolidWorks.

Furthermore, Marcus has prior experience as an Officer Cadet in the Manchester and Salford University Officer Training Corps, where they underwent intensive training in various skills such as leadership, organization, and fitness. This experience instilled in him a strong sense of responsibility and a passion for teamwork.

Marcus Wolf holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Manchester, which they obtained from 2015 to 2020. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications, including becoming a Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional Advanced Surfacing and a Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional in Mechanical Design from Dassault Systèmes in August and September 2022, respectively. Marcus also holds a Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate in Mechanical Design certification from Dassault Systèmes, which they obtained in August 2022. Furthermore, they have completed the "Introduction to SolidWorks Simulation" course from Innova Systems - UK SOLIDWORKS Software, Training & Support provider in October 2020. Marcus has also pursued further knowledge in programming and machine learning by completing the "Build a Machine Learning Model with Python" course from Codecademy in June 2020, as well as the "Learn Python 3" course from the same institution in May 2020.
