Inge Maes

Inge Maes has a strong background in sustainability and environmental roles in various companies starting from their early roles as a Project Manager in R&D at Umicore to their most recent position as Global Head Safety Health Environment Quality & Sustainability at Nyrstar. Inge has held roles at companies such as Metallo Belgium nv, Metallo Chimique, and Aurubis, focusing on sustainable development and environmental management.

Inge Maes completed their doctorate in chemistry at UHasselt from 1991 to 1997. Later, they pursued a Dr.Sc. degree at Transnationale Universiteit Limburg Diepenbeek.
