Maarten Eulaers

Maarten Eulaers currently serves as the Regional Health & Safety Lead for the EU at Nyrstar since June 2025. Prior to this role, Maarten worked at Eastman from September 2022 to June 2025, where responsibilities included managing a global portfolio of corporate HSES audits and assessments as both the EMEA Regional H&S and Global HSES Audit Manager. Maarten’s experience also includes serving as a Process Safety Consultant at Select Projects, executing HAZOP and explosion safety studies for Janssen Pharmaceutica NV, and leading process risk assessments at Umicore. Earlier roles included consultancy in piping and mechanical design at AKKA Belgium and technical work in manufacturing and commissioning at Genzyme. Maarten holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry and is currently pursuing a Safety Prevention Advisor Level 1 degree at UCLL Research & Expertise.
