Ray Garrison

Ray Garrison is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in mining and project management, currently serving as Capital Project Superintendent and Mill Operations Superintendent at Nyrstar since April 2018. Garrison is responsible for the safe operation and financial management of the Middle Tennessee zinc milling operation, overseeing an annual budget of approximately $6 million and a team of 25 employees. In previous roles, Garrison managed $40 million in capital expenditure for Tennessee Mines, successfully maintaining budgetary discipline, and pioneered initiatives for cost forecasting and project scheduling. With a solid background in geology, garnered through positions at Sumitomo Metal Mining Pogo LLC, and a degree in Geology & Geophysics from Missouri University of Science and Technology, Garrison possesses a well-rounded skill set applicable to various operational and geological challenges in the mining industry.
