Simon Dent has extensive experience in the commodities trading and metals industry, having held significant roles at various prominent companies. Simon served as the Senior Trader VP Hedging at Tennant Metals Pty Ltd from January 2007 to July 2014, followed by a position as Chemical Sales Manager at Sojitz Corporation from July 2014 to August 2015. Simon's career progressed at Nyrstar, where Simon worked as Australia & NZ Sales Manager from September 2015 to June 2018, before assuming the role of Global Head Acid & Byproducts / lead zinc trader. Currently, Simon serves as Global Head - Commercial at Nyrstar since January 2020 and has been a Trader for Zinc/Lead at Trafigura since June 2018. Simon earned a Bachelor's Degree in Arts with a specialization in Asian Studies from The Australian National University between 1996 and 2000.
