Aidan Nelson

Aidan Nelson is an accomplished media technology professional and educator, currently serving as a Visiting Faculty and Adjunct Professor at New York University, where the focus is on real-time social spaces in virtual settings. Aidan's expertise extends to digital media and networked art, demonstrated through research as a Postdoctoral Researcher and development of open-source libraries for WebRTC/WebGL. As Co-Founder and CEO of Arium, Aidan facilitates immersive 3D web experiences for arts and cultural organizations. Previous roles include Technical Director and Production Coordinator at Park Avenue Armory, where innovative installations and performances were executed. Aidan's diverse background also includes positions as a developer for Google Summer of Code, freelance production work in film and television, and significant contributions to international theater through Youth Bridge Global. Aidan holds a Master's Degree from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College.
