Alex Moroz

Director of Residency Training and Medical Education in Rehabilitation Medicine

Alex Moroz, MD, MHPE, is a physician–educator and Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, where they also serve as Director of Residency Training and Medical Education in Rehabilitation Medicine. Previously, they held the position of Associate Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at NYU School of Medicine from 2011 to 2022. Currently, Alex is the Vice-Chair for Education in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at NYU School of Medicine, and the Director of the Integrative Sports Medicine Program at the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine. They are also a co-founder of SEAbilitation, established in 2017. Alex obtained their MD from New York University School of Medicine and a Master’s Degree in Education from Maastricht University.
