Axel Avin, Jr. is a dynamic professional with a diverse background in the arts and business. Since July 2017, Axel has served as the CEO of Wordy Inc, a toy company dedicated to creating bilingual, hands-on toys that foster a love of language in children. In addition to this role, Axel has been an adjunct professor of undergraduate acting at NYU Tisch's New Studio on Broadway since February 2019, specializing in classic Chekhovian techniques and contemporary scene study. Axel also contributed as an assistant director for the acclaimed 2019 production of Coriolanus at The Public Theater. Prior to these roles, Axel worked as a real estate agent at Citi Habitats, New York City's largest rental agency, from March 2015 to July 2018. Axel holds a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from The A.C.T. Conservatory, earned between 2005 and 2008.
