David Steven

Senior Fellow At Center On International Cooperation

David Steven is a Senior Fellow at the United Nations Foundation, focusing on the future of multilateralism with particular emphasis on the 2024 Summit of the Future. Concurrently, as a Senior Fellow at the Center on International Cooperation at New York University since 2009, David provides advisory expertise and has extensively published on the 2030 Agenda, especially regarding Sustainable Development Goal 16+. Additionally, as the founding Director of River Path Associates since 1997, David specializes in multilateralism, Sustainable Development Goals, and intercultural dialogue, and has advised initiatives like the Global Partnership to End Violence Against Children. David also served as a Nonresident Senior Fellow at The Brookings Institution from 2013 to 2016. David holds a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from St John's College, Oxford University.
