James Underberg

James Underberg serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine and Attending Physician at New York University Medical School since July 1989. Underberg is the President of the Foundation of the National Lipid Association, the American Board of Clinical Lipidology, and has held the position of President at the National Lipid Association. Additionally, Underberg is the Owner of James A. Underberg MD, PLLC, specializing in Clinical Lipidology and Internal Medicine, and has served as the Medical Director of the Bellevue Hospital Lipid Clinic since January 1986. Underberg is also a co-founder and partner at Lipid Designs LLC, focusing on educational tools for healthcare professionals, and holds roles as an Expert with Medical Social Media and Corporate Medical Director at 21st Century Fox. Underberg's educational background includes an MD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and advanced degrees from Yale University.
