Jon Hurst

Jon Hurst serves as the Director of the LGBTQ Student Center at New York University since August 2015. Previously, Hurst held the positions of Director and Assistant Director at the LGBT Resource Center at the University of Georgia from February 2012 to August 2015. Earlier experience includes serving as Special Assistant to the Dean of Enrollment Services at Central State University from 2007 to 2010 and as Field Staff for Tammy Baldwin's congressional campaign in 2000, focusing on direct voter contact efforts in Madison, Wisconsin. Hurst holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Central State University.
