Matthias Strobel is the President of MusicTech Germany, an organization dedicated to fostering collaboration between the traditional music industry and music tech innovators, since July 2017. Additionally, Matthias serves as a Lecturer at New York University and is the Founder of Wicked Artists, a booking agency that connects creative technology and new media artists with various platforms. Previously, Matthias held the position of Chief Executive Officer at WickedWork, an innovation agency committed to promoting entrepreneurship and artistry in creative technology, and co-founded ZwischenWerk. Other roles include PR & Communications Manager for Music Tech Fest and Managing Director of a refugee camp. Matthias has a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Corporate Communications from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin and early experience in audio-visual media through ZDF.
