Maya Jex has extensive experience in global research initiatives at New York University, serving in various capacities from Assistant Director to Director within the Office of the Provost since May 2009. Responsibilities include managing a significant provostial initiative that encompasses international fellowships for faculty and graduate students, funding for international faculty programs, and accommodations for visiting scholars. Prior to this role, Maya Jex launched a fellowship program for scholars at NYU and served as an English Language Teacher at Pagoda Academy, as well as Program Manager for Continuing Education at The Cooper Union. Maya Jex holds a Master's degree in International and Comparative Education from NYU Steinhardt and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from NYU Gallatin.
