Michael Weisner

Michael Weisner is a Senior High Performance Computing Specialist at New York University, where they support computational research initiatives and manage local HPC clusters. With a background in research systems engineering and extensive experience in data security, machine learning, and statistical programming, they have previously held roles at Columbia University, including Senior Research Systems Engineer. Michael also served as Acting Associate Director for the Columbia University School of Social Work Doctoral Program, and participated in various research and advocacy roles in transportation equity and environmental justice. They hold a Master’s degree in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Environmental Studies from New York University.
