Pete Chatmon

Pete Chatmon is the President and Creative Director at TheDirector, where they guide a team in crafting engaging visual narratives for diverse projects. With over 70 episodes of television directed, including notable works for HBO, Showtime, and Netflix, Chatmon has demonstrated versatility across genres. They are a NAACP Image Awards Nominee for Outstanding Directing and have developed several notable projects, including a feature, documentary, and their current work in development, *The Education of Matt Barnes*. Additionally, Chatmon has been a professor at New York University since 2005, educating the next generation of filmmakers. They began their career with a Sundance selection for their NYU thesis film and continue to empower emerging storytellers through various platforms, including a podcast and a motivational handbook.
