Ramiro Corbetta

Assistant Arts Professor

Ramiro Corbetta is an accomplished game developer and educator currently serving as an Assistant Arts Professor at New York University's Game Center, where Ramiro is also the Head of Game Programming. As the founder of Corbetta Industries, Ramiro co-created the critically acclaimed Sportsfriends for multiple platforms, winning the IndieCade 2012 audience choice award for the game Hokra. With a diverse background, Ramiro has held significant positions, including Senior Software Engineer and Senior Game Designer at ustwo, and led the Digital Game Design and Development program at Long Island University. Ramiro's international experience includes a Fulbright Scholarship at Southern Taiwan University of Technology. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University and a Master of Fine Arts in Design And Technology from Parsons School of Design.
