Rohit Deo is a distinguished academic and administrator at NYU Stern School of Business, serving as Vice Dean of The Undergraduate College and Chair of the Department of Technology, Operations and Statistics since September 2018, alongside directing the NYU Stern - NYU Shanghai MS Programs. With a long-standing affiliation with New York University since 1995, Rohit has also held the position of Professor of Statistics and previously served as Vice Dean of the Undergraduate College of Business at Stern from September 2011 to June 2018. Rohit Deo holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from Iowa State University, an M.Sc. in Statistics from Savitribai Phule Pune University, and a B.Sc. in Statistics from Fergusson College.
