Sumit T. is an accomplished executive and educator with extensive experience in the finance and energy sectors. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at EcoPlus Power since 2021, Sumit leads an innovative retail energy provider catering to residential and commercial clients. In addition to the CEO role, Sumit is a member of the Advisory Board at CHARGE Energy Branding and holds a position as Adjunct Faculty at New York University. Prior to EcoPlus, Sumit was President of Vantage Commodities Financial Services, where successful restructuring led to profitability within 15 months. Previous roles include Director at Maple Securities, Director at LS Power, and Vice President at First Capital. Sumit holds an MBA from Cornell University, a Chartered Accountant designation from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and a Bachelor’s degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce.
