Daryl Mitchell is a centrally contracted cricket player for New Zealand and Canterbury, representing the Blackcaps in all three international formats—Tests, ODIs, and T20s. Growing up in Waikato, New Zealand, and moving to Perth at 15, Daryl completed education at Hale School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science. Daryl has professional cricket experience with Northern Districts between 2011 and 2020 and currently plays for Canterbury Cricket and New Zealand Cricket. In addition to playing, Daryl serves as a board member for the New Zealand Cricket Players Association and has worked in roles related to strength and conditioning, reflecting a strong commitment to athlete development and performance. Currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Sport & Exercise, Daryl holds certifications in personal training and strength and conditioning.
