Alex Samuelson is a Product Manager at nZero. Prior to joining nZero, Alex was the Director of Market Research & Consumer Insights at Bullpen Global. At Bullpen Global, Alex was responsible for scaled growth of 15+ ventures across 5 countries and 8 U.S. states by developing actionable roadmaps and product launch strategies unique to each client’s market opportunities, risk profile, financial projections, and business objectives. Alex also cultivated trusted relationships with strategic partners and potential investors.
In addition to their work with Bullpen Global, Alex also developed the content and branding for 60+ public- and investor-facing documents to communicate venture stories, missions, opportunities, and products. Alex also collaborated with the Executive Team to develop BPG’s Business Due Diligence Program – a 90-day acceleration process that helps companies develop lean strategies to boost business growth, clarify short- and long-term vision, improve operational efficiency, and prepare for fundraising – which became BPG’s benchmark approach for all collaborative ventures.
Alex’s experience also includes leading the development of North American go-to-market strategy for an international technology start-up addressing food waste; preparing 5 pitch decks and 2 executive summaries for meetings with 3 of the top 10 largest supermarket chains in the US & Canada. Alex also designed a marketing strategy for a B2B company that resulted in product distribution to 100+ new locations (from 150), prepared for NFL partnership meetings, and increased gross margins from 32% to 44%.
Alex Samuelson has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Neuroscience from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government also from the University of Rochester.
