The New Zealand Green Building Council (NZGBC) is a not-for-profit, industry organisation that aims to make sure New Zealanders live, work and play in a healthy, sustainable built environment. We do this through: - setting standards of industry best practice - mainly through environmental rating systems for the built environment; - influencing policy through leading and demonstrating best practice, advocacy through industry networks and supporting a research agenda that will influence the market; - education and training across all areas of the building industry value chain; and - providing access to networks, information and the latest global resources for our members to actively lead the market. We run rating tools that verify building sustainability, helping industry reduce the impact and improve the quality of homes, workplaces and public buildings: Green Star - the tool for offices, schools, industrial sites and any other commercial or public building Homestar - the tool for home sustainability NABERSNZ - energy performance benchmark for NZ office buildings This account is not monitored for customer service, if you have any inquries please email us at communications@nzgbc.org.nz
