Chris Williams

Chris Williams has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Chris is currently serving as the Head of Smartshares Technology at NZX Limited since November 2021. Prior to this, they were the Director of Flow - Academy of Motion, New Zealand's first school of motion for modern flow activities, from 2014 onwards. Chris also held the position of GM, Information Technology at Sanford Limited, New Zealand's oldest and largest seafood company, from October 2015 to March 2022.

Before joining Sanford Limited, Chris worked at New Zealand Post as the Group IT Services Manager from January 2012 to September 2015. Chris also has experience at Cisco Systems, where they served as a Programme Manager from September 2007 to October 2011, a Senior IT Manager from 2004 to 2007, and an IT Manager from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, Chris gained valuable experience as an IT Manager at Ipsen from July 1996 to November 1999, and as a Systems Support Lead at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare from March 1992 to July 1996.

Overall, Chris has demonstrated expertise in IT management, programme management, vendor management, and enterprise IT solutions delivery across various industries.

Chris Williams attended The University of Waikato from 1987 to 1991, where they studied International Business/Trade/Commerce and Business Administration and Management, General. It is not specified if they obtained a degree in these fields.
