Simon Beattie

Simon Beattie currently serves as General Manager of Corporate Affairs & Sustainability at NZX Limited since May 2022, previously holding the role of Head of Investor Relations & Communications. Prior to this, Simon Beattie worked at the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) as Executive Advisor to the Chief Executive from June 2014 to May 2022. Simon Beattie also held press secretary positions for Hon Steven Joyce and Hon Nick Smith between 2011 and 2014. Additional experience includes roles at Wellington City Council as Executive Officer to the Chief Executive and External Communications Manager, as well as positions at TV3 as a reporter and at The Evening Post newspaper as a sub-editor and reporter. Simon Beattie's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Otago and a National Certificate in Journalism from Wellington Polytechnic, alongside professional development at Melbourne Business School in 2017.
