BIRKU SINGH

Birku Singh has extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry, particularly in the field of solar power.

BIRKU is currently employed at O2 Power as the VP & Head of Projects, with a focus on solar energy.

Prior to that, they worked at Al Jomaih Energy and Water Co. Ltd. (JENWA) as the Head of EPC for Renewable Energy in India. In this role, they led the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction function for large-scale utility solar projects in India and provided leadership to the center of excellence team for global renewable projects.

Before joining JENWA, Singh held various positions at ReNew Power. BIRKU served as the Head of Project Execution for the B2B Cluster, overseeing the execution of solar projects. BIRKU also served as the Head of EPC for Distributed Solar, managing the engineering and construction of distributed solar projects.

Singh's previous experience includes working as the Global Head of EPC at Phelan Energy Group and as the DGM of Projects for Solar Utility Scale at ReNew Power. BIRKU has also held positions at Shan Solar Pvt Ltd, Sunborne Energy Technologies, Moser Baer Photo Voltaic Limited, Shell, and Kotak Urja Pvt Ltd.

Overall, Singh has a strong background in project management and execution in the renewable energy sector, particularly in the solar power industry.

Birku Singh started their education at St. Xavier's Boys High School in Bangalore from 1989 to 1992. BIRKU then attended Bangalore North Education Society for their Pre-University College (P.U.C) from 1992 to 1994, where they studied Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Computer Science. Afterwards, from 1994 to 1997, they attended Sri Jayachamarajendra Government Polytechnic in Bangalore, where they pursued a Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering. Lastly, Birku Singh enrolled at Alliance University for an Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management (EPGDM) with a focus on Project Management. The exact dates for this program are not specified.
