Edwin Diender

Edwin Diender is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in innovation and digital transformation within the technology and energy sectors. As Chief Innovation Officer for Huawei's Enterprise Business Group from January 2019 to July 2024, Edwin led initiatives in big data, industrial cloud, AI applications, and the development of smart grid infrastructures. In addition to responsibilities in the Global Energy Business Development department, Edwin guided clients on digital strategies aimed at carbon neutrality and smart cities. Currently, Edwin serves on multiple advisory boards, including o9 Solutions, Famme Works Co., Ltd., and IE Business School's TechMBA Advisory Board, while also contributing as a member of the Board of Advisors for Hero China.
