Rafael Marques

Rafael Marques currently serves as a researcher at GITEC/FGV, focusing on ethical, regulatory, commercial, tax, and economic issues related to new technologies. Additionally, Rafael hosts a podcast for Flycast News and teaches as a guest professor in digital law programs at both Escola Brasileira de Direito and Escola Paulista de Direito, covering topics such as internet regulation and data protection. As the coordinator of the Privacy Operations course at Future Law, Rafael promotes robust data protection programs and has a history of roles including senior privacy and data protection positions at RecargaPay and Locaweb. This professional background is supported by an MBA in Data Science and Analytics from USP/Esalq and other degrees in law and technology. Rafael is also an active member of the Special Commission on Digital Law at OAB SP.
