Craig Hendrix

Dr. Craig Hendrix is a Senior Faculty member at Oak Crest Institute of Science in Monrovia, CA, who has made significant contributions to HIV prevention research, particularly in the clinical pharmacology of antiretroviral drugs. Previously, they served as the Wellcome Professor and Director of the Division of Clinical Pharmacology at Johns Hopkins University, where they were involved in various leadership roles from 1994 until their retirement in 2025. Dr. Hendrix has published over 350 scientific articles and has been actively engaged in teaching and mentoring medical and graduate students. They hold an MD from Georgetown University and a baccalaureate degree from MIT.
