Extra care housing is a model that combines purpose-built and ergonomically designed housing for older people with onsite flexible care that adapts to an owner's changing needs. It allows people to maintain their independence for longer and, if they own the property they live in, to protect their equity. The leasehold, extra care retirement sector is growing fast and we intend to grow with it.
