John MacDonald is currently the Chief Electrician at the Rhode Island Convention Center, Amica Mutual Pavilion, and VMA, as well as the Chief Electrical Inspector for the town of Johnston. They have extensive experience in the entertainment industry, having held positions such as Master Electrician at the RI Convention Center and Electrical Foreman at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. John graduated from JATC IBEW Electrical Apprenticeship School and served as an Executive Board Member for IBEW Local #99 since 2013. Their previous roles also include a tenure as an Electrical Inspector for the town of Johnston and in the Johnston School Department.
